Screen does not wake up

My screen does not wake up when I press the power button. "logcat -b events" says when I press the power button:

The volume buttons work, the two buttons left and right of the home button light up, only the screen is pitch black. This happens quite often. Battery removal and reboot can get the screen working again.

Any ideas what could I do? Could this be some setting o an app? What othe rlogs should I be looking at?
