Spotify Controls in lockscreen not working

With Android Marshmallow 6.0 on my P8Lite, the song control buttons of Spotify (previous song, pause/play, next song) aren't working in the lockscreen.
Another thing to mention is that I'm using a PIN-password for the lockscreen.
Has anyone else faced this problem, and is there any solution or workaround?
