Increase Notification Play Length?

Sorry for the bad grammar in the title, but I'm not sure how I would word it.

I've got a custom sound about 7 seconds long, but when I set it as my text notification, it only plays around 2 seconds of it. Is there a way I can increase how long the sound in a notification plays for?
