Oookay here is the story...
My younger brother bought an lg g3, running 5.0.1 lollipop. since he is pretty young, my dad only let him buy it on condition that he let him put on monitoring/ child safety ap called Funamo.
we tested funmo on a spare phone, works like a charm. on the g3, it just will not work. we did some sniffing around and found this:

Apparently lg in their infinite wisdom have removed the setting we need.
we tried the nova launcher workaround mentioned in the above thread but no luck, the option we needed just didnt show up.
Is there a way to get that option or do i have to flash a custom rom to get this functionality?
Or is it back on MM? Basically what do i need to do?
