Hi all,
The latest in a long line of issues I've had with my LG G2.
The phone's always had an intermittent problem with turning the wifi on - sometimes it gets stuck saying "turning wifi on" and, as a result, I can't get any signal or turn the wifi back off. For some reason, it tends to happen when data is turned off as well, so it's normally only an issue when I'm abroad. It's never been too much of an issue, it's always gone back to normal when I restart the phone. I've heard of a few people with similar-ish problems but not quite the same.
Anyway, this time, turning it off and on again isn't making any difference. It's just permanently saying "turning wifi on" and the switch continues to flash.
I'm on 4.4.2 KitKat. I've also just noticed that the MAC address is unavailable. Any ideas beyond finally getting a new phone? Would like to avoid a factory reset if at all possible, I'd rather not back everything up over 4G...
Thanks,
James
