If you're an AT&T customer and in the market for a phone that doesn't have a lot of frills but will get the basics done for under a hundred bucks, the all-new ZTE Blade Spark is another worthy contender in the ultra-affordable smartphone market.
On the front of the Blade Spark is a 5.5-inch 1280 x 720 HD display, capacitive navigation buttons, and a 5MP front-facing camera that you can quickly launch with the Spark's "selfie shortcut" button. On the back of the phone is textured plastic back with a 13MP primary rear-facing camera, and surprisingly even a fingerprint scanner.
The ZTE Blade Spark is running Android Nougat and it's powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC with 2GBs of RAM. There's 16GBs of built-in storage (expandable up to 128GB) for storing all of your local files, and a decently-sized 3,140 mAh battery.
Looking at the specs for the ZTE Blade Spark, it's rather obvious that this phone won't come anywhere close to blowing your socks off. However, at just $99, this is a very compelling buy as either a backup phone, or if you know a friend or family member that doesn't want to spend a lot of dough and just needs a phone that will get the basics done (Web browsing, social media use, calling/texting, etc.).
You can purchase the ZTE Blade Spark right now through AT&T.
