[question] How do I enable the emoji keyboard?

I am using Dirty Unicorns ROM for Sony Xperia Z, and the included keyboard does not have an option to switch out to emoji's.

What gives? Is there a go-to emoji keyboard for vanilla android that I can install, and how do I go about doing this?
