N910C Question

I'm using the N910C in the US, Upstate NY to be exact. When I bought the phone it had lollipop on it. Marshmallow OTA wasn't available yet. Through tinkering with odin I odined to MM with the Poland files (xeo). Then in attempt to get back to kit kat I was backwards flashing all the Poland files and realised it wasn't going to work so I stayed at XEO Lollipop and decided to check OTA from there as I didn't want to deal with my slow computer anymore. It found the update and I installed that OTA. What exactly is the best version to be on in the US with this phone, though? What would the best modem be? I know there's no north American region so what would the next best bet be for good signal performance and battery. I'm just confused what I'm supposed to be using for an N910C in the US.
