Can't change keyboard.

Hi, I wanted to try out the newest version of the Google keyboard, so after installing the APK, I went to change keyboards, and I don't have the option in my notification area. Am I missing a change in the methods to change keyboards? I'm not sure how to get it back. I'm rooted on 6.0.1 MHC19Q. If you need any more information, please let me know.
