This is my modded version of Samsung's new alternate UI for marshmallow with the lockscreen help text ie 'swipe screen to unlock' removed. I am sharing this because removing that one line of text seems like it should be very easy, but it's actually quite a drawn out process that was a pain for me possibly because I had no prior experience using apktool.
I used this guide to remove the text after decompiling the apk.

This should not cause any problems, but if it does, I obviously cannot assume responsibility. When and if you wish to update the apk (such as when samsung posts an update which could be any day) the help text will most likely return. I may or may not update the thread at that point if anyone cares and if it works for people.

I am running this on g925T rooted using xtrestolite ROM. It may work on other phones/roms. I don't know. It may not work at all. You must be on marshmallow to stand a chance.

Download the apk and use a file manager to install as you would any other apk.
