Is Anyone out there still using Gingerbread for a daily driver?

After my S3 died, I started using a an X2 that I bought about five years ago used for 20 us dollars. Had to order a battery for it the other day and after that battery life has been great on CM7 but as most of you know, There's a slew of apps that don't work on Gingerbread.

I've managed to find some old really nice themes no longer available on the store from my DX collection.
I don't run Facebook
Can't get youtube videos to play no matter what.
The only tweak I use is to enable the second core. via a script I found somewhere.
I've found a website that lists older versions of many apps so I can use things like es explorer of course Ghost Commander, and the other similar file manager to Ghost I think it's called midnight but I'll have to double check.
I'm also using TIBU and rom toolbox pro for the flip animation.
Antennapod for pod casts, and noagendroid.

One thing I don't miss about the S3 is the absolutely pathetic signal it pulled in compared to this X2. I can talk almost all over the house with no dropped calls but with the S3 I almost always had to go outside. I'm not a samsung hater, I put that device through hell, dropping it in the shower (still worked) but I dropped my ol DX off the roof of my car in a curve at 55-60 MPH and after putting it back together it worked just fine.

I was going to try CM10 but the last time I had dialer issues, and I think with the bluesleep fix implemented that will persist.

What i'm basically asking is if you're like me still using a GB device. What apps do you use with good results.
